Old aussie slang site

Postby Dellycat » Sun Dec 04, 2011 4:58 pm

Some really funny stuff in the link below, be warned some of it may offend some people, so please DO NOT read it then complain.
On that note, I have not heard all these sayings and don't totally agree with some of them either, this person has just taken the time to collect and post them. There are a few brilliant ones among it all

http://www.sunburntcountry.au.com/sayings/index.html

This is an old site (last updated in 2000), this is what shows if you go to the original site

SunburntCountry.au.com

Yes, sunburntcountry.au.com is back! The domain of Malcolm and Odile.
The site is no longer maintained and is very old fashioned cira 1997, however you can visit the Outrageous Aussie Sayings site which was one of my first projects on the web. Voting and contributions are disabled, but the lists are still there in all their outrageous splendor.

Regards,

Malcolm Snelgrove & Odile Ruijs

Same here, can't remember the last time I saw any of those shows. From what I remember and saw, they seem to have gone way beyond the realm of reality... I couldn't live in a town that has murders, rapes, nutcases, car crashes, plane crashes and probably alien abductions.. who knows. No one has that much stuff happen in their life, most are unfortunate to only have one thing nasty to them and never more than that... stupid soapies... I do not like them... or can you tell...
