They are saying this is the best lake monster picture ever. They tell the story of the image in the article, but what I don't understand is why the person only took one photo of the thing. They say it stayed visible for about 5 minutes. Also, why put the image in a photo album and forget about it and disgard the negative, bringing out the image years later? People have believed in lake monsters for a long time, it isn't as if this is all new, so putting away the image makes no sense.
Among the theorys in the article is one that it is just a piece of drift wood. I have probably gotten out of the sceptical side of bed this morning, but I am tending to think along those lines as well.
I would be interested in other opinions on this one
