Re: Can my cat scense the paranormal?

Cats are good at sensing things and are protectors, sounds like you have a loving animal there
Cats were respected by the Egyptians and were know to ward off evil.

Interesting
Could be what WW said or another theory could be a case of parallel universe, seeing someone going about their day in another dimension.. :thinking2:

Kanowna cemeteries - Old and Older

Kanowna has two cemeteries and there is a good story behind why. We visited Kanowna a little while back and found it a very interesting place, I will dig through my photos and post them and the story here later. For a start here is a video from Youtube that you may find interesting  http://www...

That one is spooky. Got to the one about Belle Gunness and that got my attention so did a bit of research... I think it is the name and you know why that would ring a bell.... Now I know where Hells Bells comes from as well and should have been a saying here. It appears the name goes with the action...

eerie yet fascinating at the same time. Enjoyed them both. It is spooky how a lot of the younger ones died around the early 30's mark.... Not sure if it isn't a tad worrying that we remember a lot of those people living.... :closet:
Good find Jemm :yesmaster:

Re: SLEEPY HOLLOW CEMETERY USA

What brilliant photos and creepy with it! The two story mansion reminds me in style to the two story tin structure over here in WA at Cue, the Masonic lodge. The similarity in style is creepy. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=252462128234782&set=a.183527798461549.1073741830.18315995516500...

Re: Haunts in Ireland and Scotland

I think at the end of the day that the UK is full of old historical and interesting places due to it's age. One day before I am too old to travel, I would love to visit the UK again through more mature eyes than in the past. So much history there it makes the mind boggle  One interesting thing...

I loved reading that, I have a new love of history now I am older and I love Australian history.
Isn't it amazing how these towns are born, the reasons why they flourish then they die to just become a place that was with only ghosts of the past showing. Amazing. Thank you for sharing.

The UK is a wonderful place through the eyes of a tourist, I wouldn't want to go live there though. If we won lotto then I would be happy to go there for an extended holiday to do just what you said... visit EVERYTHING

Re: Haunts in Ireland and Scotland

Megsy, if you went to every castle and or castle ruin it would take you all year  there are just so many of them along with old stately homes that are open to the public. I saw a few fantastic places when there, Wales has some awesome big castles that are still complete except for floors in the...

Re: Haunts in Ireland and Scotland

Great photos, I feel exhausted from the journey :exhausted: Nah they were excellent :cheesy: I come from near Stonehenge, it is fantastic to see up close though now I think they have a lot of it fenced off. In Wales there are the remains of a castle on a farm, below the ruins are under ground tunnel...

Re: Haunts in Ireland and Scotland

Welcome back  You need to reduce the photo size to upload direct to the site. I can't remember exactly what the size is set at so will check after work today. I think it is no more than 800 pixel by 800 pixel and no more than about 500kb in size. You can resize using a program called Easy Thum...

Re: Shadow Person in Photo

A shadow person who casts a shadow... :thinking2: hmmm let me think about this.... To me it looks like someone has moved into the shot as it was taken or out of the shot as it was taken and it has caused what looks like motion blur... Easy to deny any one was there if you want to sell your s...
