Re: Why we can't predict lotto (mostly)

Personally, I have seen psychics get things wrong all the time. My mum knows quite a few of them and she reads cards herself and that's probably where I get my interest from. Anyway, one day I was around having a cuppa with mum and one of her friends wanted to do a reading for me. I handed over a pe...

Re: Port Macquarie Historic Cemetery

I'm just glad that I made sure nothing followed us home! I felt wrong inside, like that sinking feeling in the stomach when you get caught doing something naughty as a kid strangely crossed with a really sad, depressing feeling like a pet just died... It was just a downright disgusting feeling. My f...

Re: Your abilities???

I find that doing runic readings comes to me almost as a given fact and they are usually so accurate its scary. As far as 'abilities' go, I often 'feel' if things are not as they should be or if something is going to go wrong. I get the same feeling if I think someone is lying to me or trying to dec...

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

Well, not all indigenous people are thieves, but some thieves are indigenous people. And that is how stereotypes are born!

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

Wow, that's pretty intense... Well let's hope they find out who is doing it. It could also be entirely possible that it is a number of different groups or even a gang? I haven't seen much of the news. I don't really watch tv that often. Mainly because our arial is busted in our block of flats.

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

Unfortunately this will have to wait for some time now, got home from surgery this afternoon to find my house has been broken into. Over $20,000 worth of stuff gone, including all my paranormal investigation gear! NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! That is a supreme amount of sucktacularness, man...

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

I've also heard that Fantasy Glades was supposed to be opening back up again mid-this year but it looks like it didn't happen. Probably take them another few years to open up yet. I also doubt that they would be able to replicate the original quality either, seeing as how the contents of fantasy gla...

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

Fantasy Glades was torn down years ago. Shame, that. I actually liked going there as a kid, loads of fun. They tore down peppermint park too and I think both of them are now blocks of flats or hotels. I have been to timber town quite a few times as a little one, and it was AWESOME! Loved every bit o...

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

Yeah, tell me about it. There have been people seeing what they think are 'swamp lights' coming from the boardwalk at night and more often than not the lights are accompanied by what sounds like chains being dragged in a marching step from the same direction. When me and my fiancée were walking thro...

Re: A comprehensive List of Haunted Australia

I'm surprised that there isn't anything about Port Macquarie in that article. I may have to fix the problem at a later date... There have been loads of hauntings in 'good old' Port Mac! Unsurprising really, considering the town's violent and hellish history that people would prefer to keep...

Re: Port Macquarie Historic Cemetery

Hey guys! Me and my fiancée took a little bit of a walk around the historical cemetery yesterday afternoon. It was rather peaceful and we got to have a look at all the old weather-worn headstones and bits and pieces. There was one bit, however that i found rather unsettling. Honestly, I just plain r...

Bindrunes

Put simply, a Bindrune is an amalgam of two or more runes joined by the 'stalks' that takes on the properties of all runes involved. Bindrunes may be as simple or as complex as one wishes, however the more complex, the more concentration is required to 'forge' the rune successfully. Bindrunes were a...

Re: What is Wicca?

Very true, Starchilde. It's like asking a Muslim woman to remove her headdress. It's a religious symbol so yes, she would be well within rights to refuse to remove it. It's like if I would make up a runic pendant and wore or if i chose to carry my rune bag that day and then be asked to remove it. Be...

Re: Runic Magic

Using the runes in candle magic would be interesting. The best thing about the runes in my opinion is that each has both a sound and a meaning. One can write a runic script using the alphabetical sounds or the meanings. All that is different is that one is longer and more precise and therefore requi...

Runic Magic

I've been working with Runes for a few years and ever since then it seems I've been on a quest for knowledge surrounding the runes. Since other forms of spell casting exist, I decided to see if runic magic ever existed. Turned out it did and it has been around for a long long time. I have tried basi...
